Sashti: kick off this festival in something casual but chic. Floral prints are a new favorite this pujas. So opt for dresses that are floral and colorful printed. This can totally steal the show and you can flaunt it well on Sashti.

Saptami: To appear fashionable and beautiful you can style yourself with a modern yet sophisticated kurti / salwar. You can choose between gloomy colours or vivid reds and pinks to imitate the cheerful mood. This will make you stand out of the crowd.

Astami: Since saree is a tradition lets add a modern twist to your look, you can ditch the prototypical saree that you wear and decide on something completely out of your box like wearing a neck cover drape saree, dhoti chic saree, knot saree wrap or wavy saree drape.

Navami: It’s all about looking fabulous and gorgeous, so style up by wearing on an ethnic gown dress. A youthful gown dress is fashionable yet trendy. Opt of light colours such as blue, yellow, pink and red. This fashion will take you to a whole new level and will make you look stylish.

Vijay Dashami (Dashami): Since dashami is the end of durga puja and all are gathered to bid farewell to the goddess. “Sindoor Khela” is also performed on this day but it’s not the end of your fashion game. Add elegance to your fashion by wearing the so called red-n-white saree or vice-versa. You can either wear tant red saree or a cotton white saree with red boarders (known as the lal paad sada saree) to look your best.

Be it the sweaty heat or the unpleasant rain, the mile long queues or the swarming crowd; make sure you beat them all in style.
