Teachers Day Celebration at Internation School of Design Kolkata

Teacherʼs Day in International School of Design was  celebrated with  much   excitement. The day started with a tribute to the second President of India, Mr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan followed by theme party of Bollywood retro named as “Relive the 90's” The teachers were dressed exactly like 90's Bollywood stars.There were a lot of performances including singing, dancing, games  and many more performed by the students.The  celebration  took  place  in  the campus and the theme for the celebration was “retro”. The                decoration, dress code and performances were organised according to the theme. The entire  celebration    was       organised by the students of INSD, where students of each department were involved to bring this celebration to a success. The celebration included dance and singing  perform presented by the students, followed by an amazing round of gaming session. An award ceremony was held to appreciate  the  uniqueness  of  our teachers and were presented with unique gifts according to the titles were received. The  day was celebrated with  the  cutting of  the cake  by  the teachers followed by a presentation dedicated to the teachers showing our love and the beautiful journey  of  the        teachers and the students in INSD. Lastly gifts were presented by the students to the teachers as a symbol of love, respect and the appreciation of their presence in our life. This celebration was a small gratitude how much important our teachers are for shaping  our  live and making us a better human being.

Then there was another segment in which the students gave some titles to the teachers on the basis of what they have known them. Just to show a little gratitude towards the teachers the students had arranged for a few gifts such as planters, flowers, chocolates, and jars containing some personal messages from each student which the student hesitates to share generally during the course but feels deep down within to make this day extra special for there TEACHER.
